Scan4Dine collects information required to set up and manage your restaurant digital menu service. This includes business details (restaurant name, address, contact person), credentials (mobile number, email address, password hash), menu details (dishes, prices, images), and payment transaction metadata via Razorpay.
2How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly to deliver, maintain, and optimize Scan4Dine services. Primary uses include:
- Setting up and authenticating your restaurant admin account.
- Processing subscription plan activations, renewals, and billing via Razorpay.
- Serving digital QR menus, category filters, and bill estimation features to your restaurant diners.
- Sending transaction receipts, account alerts, password resets, and critical service notifications.
3Customer & Diner Data Protection
Scan4Dine prioritizes diner privacy. When customers scan QR codes at your tables to view your menu or estimate bills, we do not require diner account creation or collect personal invasive tracking data. Session data is stored locally in temporary browser session storage.
4Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or restaurant business data to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary for delivering Scan4Dine services:
- Razorpay: To process encrypted online payment transactions.
- Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: To securely store menu assets, images, and database records.
- Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or court order.
5Data Security Measures
We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your information. Passwords are salted and hashed using bcrypt (`PASSWORD_DEFAULT`), and web communications are encrypted via SSL/TLS protocol.
6Data Retention & Account Deletion
Your restaurant data is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to terminate your subscription or request account deletion, you can contact our support team at support@scan4dine.in to purge your data.
